4.Report from Event Committee

・Family Picnic Day will be held at MIS on 9th Sep.

・Sharing activity ideas

 — Basket Ball, Dodge Bee, Ballet Class, Treasure Hunt, Drinks, Dance Class, Family Picture, Struck Out 

We’ll have a small meeting on 27th June and will decide which activity we’ll have and who will be in charge of each activity.

・Volunteer required for this event.

・Improvements about selling Drinks at Bazaar

①We should reduce stock if other stalls are selling drinks.

→The reason these stocks left might be the weather and the changing of the place.

＊Could we consume these drinks somewhere/somehow? by Mr.Citrano

→Consider selling at Family Picnic.(Mrs.Sugimura)  Approved.

②It would be better to have a cooler box which we can carry. We used PTA members’ personal items so it’s better to have for PTA use.

→Mr.Citrano agreed with this.

③It would be useful if we had a timetable for the schedule for the members who is selling drinks.It will be easier to check.

・Online cafe for MIS parents on 29th June.10:30~11:30

If somebody would like to speak or share ideas,please contact Tara or the event committee.

・Term2 events committee activities

①Terry Fox Charity event

→Is it possible having the guests we had last year.＊Mr.Citrano will contact them directly.

②Preparing for PTA meetings

③Preparing for Family Picnic Game Day.(9th Sep)

④Preparing Information Session for Parents (29th Jun.)

 

5.Rule-Making Committee

・Bylaw update

①Should we combine the event committee’s duty1 and 2?

→We’ll hold a Family Session in June and each goal is different so we can leave it as before.(Answer from Mr.Citrano)

②There is no mention of IT Committee’s duties so we added it.

→ It’s approved.

 

6.Proposal to establish MIS Alumni Network.(Mr.Kimura)

MIS has been in  existence for 14 years and we propose to start an alumni association organization. And we propose that the PTA support the launch of the  alumni association and that the PTA pay for the annual usage of the management system.

We are planning the first one will be this year if it’s possible. We(PTA) are likely to cover the cost. First of all, the PTA will draw up rules then students will take over it.(It’s too hard for them to create it from the beginning.)

We would like to share your opinions at the next meeting in September.

 

There are no meetings in July and August due to the summer holiday.

Next meeting will be held on 19th Sep. 12:15~13:15 at MIS/Zoom Online.

4.   イベント委員会からの報告

→バスケットボール、ドッジビー、バレエクラス、宝探し、ドリンク販売、ダンスクラス、家族写真、ストラックアウト

        6月27日に小規模でミーティングをする予定です。

その際にどのアクティビティをするか誰が担当するかなど決めたいと思います。

①他のお店でドリンクを販売している場合はPTAno在庫を減らした方が良い

→今回残ったのは前日の雨による場所変更が関係したことが原因かもしれない。

今回余ったドリンクをどこかで消費できないか（シトラノ校長より）

ファミリー・ピクニックのときにドリンク販売を考えている

→承認されました。

②売り歩き用のカート付き保冷庫があると便利。今年はPTA 役員の私物をお借りしましたがPTA用に購入しても良いと思う。

→シトラノ校長は賛成。

③机の上にドリンク販売を行うPTAメンバーの担当するタイムテーブルがあると確認しやすい。

 

もしパネリストとしてシェアしたいこと、話したいことがある方はタラさんかイベントの方にメールしてください。

5.規約委員会からの報告

①イベント委員会の仕事について１、２を統合すべきか

→今年6月に保護者のための説明会を予定していて１と２はゴールが異なるため現状のままで良いと思う（シトラノ校長より説明答弁）

②現行のPTA規約にIT委員会についての記載がないため追加しました。

→承認されました。

 

6.MISアルムナイネットワーク(同窓会ネットワーク）設立の提案（木村会長より）

MISは設立から14年が経ち、MIS卒業生が卒業後も友情を継続することで人生を豊かにすることを目的に同窓会組織を発足することを提案します。

PTAで立ち上げを支援し、管理システムの年間使用料をPTAで負担することを提案します。

初回は可能ならば今年を計画しています。料金に関してはPTAが負担する可能性が高いです。規約に関してはPTAでまず作成しそれを生徒たちに継承する方向です。(最初から生徒たちで作成することは難しいため。)

 次回のミーティングまでに意見があれば考えてきてください。

 

7月、8月は夏休みのため会議はありません。

次回は9月19日(火)12:15〜13:15　MISミーティングルームとZOOMオンラインにて開催いたします。
