PTA Membership Addition
The addition of W. N to the PTA members was approved by the attending officers. She will join the Event Committee.
Event Committee Report
The Terry Fox Run held on November 4 was successfully conducted with the help of volunteers, students, and Mr. Hall's setup assistance.
We are currently considering plans for events for Term 3. In addition to the following two annual events, we would like to think of events that all students can participate in and enjoy. If you have any ideas, please contact us at the Event Committee's email address.
Staff’s lunch
Last year, the schedule was decided at the November PTA Meeting and implemented on a Wednesday in mid-February. We will confirm the date with Mr. Citrano.Thank you cards/notes for teachers
Donation Committee Report
Based on the previous estimate, we obtained new estimates from Urata and Aneby. The details are as follows.
Urata estimate
Amount: 3.85 million yen
Content: Metal poles + tent-type roof. Chairs are not included in the estimate.
Other: If it exceeds 10㎡, it will be treated as a building, so we are considering making something smaller.Aneby estimate
Amount: 4.81 million yen
Content: A model called Palma. Includes a bench and walls.
Other: The basic color is white. The price will increase slightly if it is changed to brown. Mats need to be laid in the installation area because the ground gets muddy.
The Aneby proposal might be better to achieve the goal of creating shade, as it can also block sunlight coming in from the side.
The budget for the PTA this time is 4.3 million yen. If we go with the Aneby proposal, we expect to exceed the budget by about 500,000 yen. We have been operating to effectively use the PTA membership fee once every two years for the purpose of returning benefits to current students since the last time, in view of the term, there were the following opinions on whether to follow it.
We changed the Bylaw about two years ago to clarify the responsibility for each term. Shouldn't we break the rule that the donation amount should be done within the budget for two terms?
Using six years' worth at once is too much, but there is currently no provision in the Bylaw regarding the amount of donations, so isn't it allowed to use the budget somewhat flexibly?
From the perspective of fairness, using the budget once every two years seems reasonable. However, if it overflows by +1~2 months, isn't it within the acceptable range?
Last time for the Sand Pit, PTA received about 1 million yen from MIS. For this time, how about discussing whether it is possible to receive similar support in order to donate items that the students truly need?
As for the banner that was proposed as another plan, we will decide after seeing the situation of the above.

Preparing the newsletter for the second semester.
Rulemaking Committee
We will consider whether to include a clause (period, etc.) related to Donation in the Bylaw, and if necessary, we will raise it as an agenda from next month.
About PTA positions for next year
The other day, we conducted a survey about the PTA for the next fiscal year. Based on its contents, we decided on the three roles and representatives of each committee for the next fiscal year.
We will continue to consider the Auditor and the leader of the Event. It would be appreciated if the PTA officers who are parents of new 6th graders could stay as Observers as much as possible so that new officers can take over and ask questions.
